Prolific artist Pierre Bataillard has more than 30 years of exhibition experience with works in The Alberta Foundation for the Arts as well as many private collections. Originally born and educated in Switzerland, Bataillard now lives near Bonnyville. His mixed-media work is based on keen observation and delineation to capture the key information of his subject, distilling them down into stirring and active compositions. These highly animated representations truly transform the ordinary into extraordinary.
