Elene has been hooked on clay since she took her first pottery class at age six from renowned local artist Nell Sadee. In her artistic practice, Elene creates whimsical raku fairy houses, tugboats, small sculptures, lanterns, and masks. She loves the unpredictability of firing her pieces in outdoor raku kilns, and excels at texture and surface design. Elene is a member of the St. Albert Potters Guild, and is currently an AGSA community program instructor for children and adult clay classes.
