Stegosaurus
Grades K–3
Stegosaurus is best known for the fact that it was an herbivore and had two rows of armoured plates that ran along it’s back and tail. Scientists now illustrate this dinosaur with a spiky tail held up in the air for protection while its head remained low to the ground in order to eat vegetation. Students learn different hand building techniques that will allow them to successfully create this amazing creature.
