St. Albert Place Completion

Completed in October 1983, the renamed St. Albert Place had a special open house from Dec 8-10, 1983, and then celebrated its grand opening over three days from June 1 - 3, 1984, attended by around 7,000 people. The official opening ceremony was held on June 2. The building cost just under $20 million.

St. Albert Place houses the St Albert Public Library, the Musée Héritage Museum, the Arden Theatre, Council Chambers, civic offices, and visual arts studios.
