Early Travel and Transport in Central Alberta

Movement was essential for survival. Searching for resources, hunting, and trading were daily activities for First Nations, the Métis, and new European arrivals. Journeys of hundreds of miles were made using many modes of transport. Follow along with the people that criss-crossed the region, travelling to explore, understand, and thrive on this land.
