March–Comics and Animation
Ages: 5–13 Years
Location: Painting Studio, St. Albert Place
Day: Thursdays
Time: 1:30–3 pm (1.5 hours per class)
Series Fee: $60/child per month (4 classes)
Location: Visual Art Studios, Painting Studio, St. Albert Place, 5 St. Anne Street
NOTE: Please contact our Registrar ( 780-459-1163) if you are a Homeschool parent interested in organizing a group of 10 children to take part in a visual art field trip of your choice. The minimum fee to book group art programs on select weekday afternoons from September to June is $150.
Upcoming Classes
Character Building: Use your imagination to create one or two different characters to use in your comic.
Storyboards: Think of a short story or comical situation that your characters might find themselves in.
Comic Strip: Bring your amazing story to life by designing a comic strip that has one to five sequential scenes.
Flip Book Animation: Using a flip book, draw your character repeatedly in a slightly altered position on each page so your character becomes animated when you flip quickly through your book.
