Elke and moonrocks

They are all handbuilt, using a technique that resembles how wasps make their nests: little bits and pieces of clay are thrown on the table to thin them out, and then they are joined to build up as high as four feet. If it is one, this technique developed out of necessity: I can no longer wedge clay or make coils.
