Communities that Grow (In-Person)

Grade(s): 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12

Location: St. Albert Grain Elevators

Program Delivery: In-Person

Duration: 1.5 Hours

Volunteers: 2–4 recommended

The St. Albert grain elevators tell a story about agriculture and change over time in the community. We explorer the elevators and discover how they worked, what grains were stored in them and how grains were measured.  Using their creativity, in small groups student work to build their own community to bring back to the classroom.
